Privacy policy
Effective November 7, 2026. This policy covers food.med-rise.com (MedRise Food Science), operated by ViaAI LLC under the MedRise brand (“we,” “us”).
The short version
- No accounts, sign-ups or forms. We don’t ask for your personal information.
- Google shows ads here and uses cookies to do it. You can opt out of personalized ads at any time.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we ask Google for non-personalized ads.
- Your meal plan and ingredient check-offs stay in your own browser. They are never sent to us.
Information we collect
Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and use them only to reply. We keep these emails only as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the conversation.
Technical data. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies. We don’t keep our own server logs.
Data saved in your browser. The meal planner saves your plan in your browser’s local storage so it’s there next time, and recipe cards remember checked-off ingredients during your visit. This data stays on your device; clearing your browser data removes it.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. Google and its partners may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites when you use this site.
You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google’s My Ad Center, opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info, or, in Europe, at youronlinechoices.eu. Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, some US state laws treat the use of advertising cookies as “sharing” personal information or “targeted advertising,” and give you the right to opt out, as described below.
Your privacy choices
Europe, the UK and Switzerland. Visitors there see a Google-certified consent message before personalized ads are shown. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Privacy choices” link at the bottom of every page.
United States. Where state law requires it, Google shows a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link on this site. Use it to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal or a Do Not Track signal, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser and ask Google to show only non-personalized ads, which use the page you’re reading rather than your browsing history. Google may still use cookies to limit how often an ad appears, to measure ads and to prevent fraud.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or the EEA, UK or Switzerland), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information about you, to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising or profiling, and to appeal a decision we make about your request. We don’t hold personal information about visitors beyond emails sent to us; advertising data is held by Google and can be managed with the tools above. To make a request, email admin@med-rise.com. If we decline a request, you can appeal by replying with “Appeal” in the subject line. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.
EEA, UK and Switzerland. ViaAI LLC is the controller for this site. We rely on your consent for advertising cookies and personalized ads (collected through Google’s consent message), and on our legitimate interest in running and securing the site for technical data. Google and Cloudflare may process data in the United States and other countries under the safeguards those companies use, such as standard contractual clauses. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
This site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
